Peregrine Senior Landing at Orchard Park: Flag Day Presentation

What a beautiful day to have a Flag Day presentation done for our resident’s.  They thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine, as well as the new flowers planted around the building.  President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14. Many Americans celebrate Flag Day by displaying the Red, White and Blue in front of homes and businesses.

Memorial Day Preparations!

Peregrine’s Landing at Orchard Park started our weekend off the right way…Residents planted over 100 American Flags in our courtyards as well as throughout our gardens in the front of the building.  This was a beautiful sight and a good time for our resident’s, including some veteran’s and staff to look back and remember all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States.

Monday, a van full of our resident’s went to the Memorial Day service at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park. They also got the opportunity to take pictures with the Mayor of Buffalo!
